Does everyone know that Buddy's mom was killed in a car accident a couple of days ago?
Got my first chance to go there this past Saturday to see Clash of the Titans. Buddy Herron has done himself well. Big lobby, nice little gaming area, great seating and excellent sound. All that couldn't help the movie itself, though.

You can never rise above the image that you have of yourself in your own mind."
Yeah, from what I head, it was a pretty bad accident. I think it happened close to the saw mill between Appalachia and Norton.

I don't know if he was drunk, but his name was Joe Diets. One of the men that works at the saw mill went to lunch and came up on it within seconds after it happened. He said the man was dead at the scene, but Jane was still alive but died shortly after. He said it was pretty horrific.
From the Kingsport paper today:
Really hate that his family is going through this.Jane Herron, Dunbar, Va.
Sonia Jane Herron, 63, died on Friday in Blackwood, Va. as a result of an automobile accident. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap, Va. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
You'll shoot your eye out.

Drunk or not, folks travel on the wrong side of the road up and down through there on a routine basis. I used to have to drive it daily to get to the sawmill to work, and I hated it...come to think of it, I've always hated that road because folks are always in a hurry on it. And, it's a dangerous road to be in a hurry on. As far as saying someone was drunk at the time of an accident..unless that's for sure, I don't think it's right say it.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....
The design of the road just makes it too tempting for those in a hurry to ride the middle than to take time to stick to their sides in all the curves.
For the most part I'll go through BSG to get to Appalachia from Norton.
You'll shoot your eye out.

I reported what I was told, and that's all. If I'm wrong and there's evidence to it, I'll retract it. I didn't know the guy's name either--it was CD that posted it.
I will add this to what I said--this guy is apparently from Appy, and some of my mom's family in Appy who know this guy said he had been caught on DUI's several times, and that his license was suspended for the offenses.
